The two quart jars contain shirts for each granddaughter, steeping in blackberry pulp frozen after jam making, along with a large dollop of blackberry vinegar. The large jar contains a cashmere sweater steeping in an exhaust bath made from the mushroom Pisolithus tinctorius, which I had used to dye yarn a deep, rich brown. I threw in a rusty bit. This batch is all repurposed, from the clothes to the jars and leftover plant parts!!
