I’m sorry I have no idea of the botanical names of the bark or dried moss, I do know that the moss is one we have here that grows on all most rainforest trees and gives a lovely greeny/faun dye.  The lady that collected the moss was using it to dye wool for weaving many, many years ago.  I’m giving it a go in the hope that some colour may still remain after all these years.  Fingers crossed!!

The labels are now on the jars, I use pieces of cotton fabric written on and tied on as the silver fish eat paper too quickly..
